Artist Residencies

Inspace is part of the Institute for Design Informatics; commissioning and producing creative activity that unlocks digital technology and explores its role in society. Our public programme connects data, research and creative talent.

Since 2020 we have developed and delivered a variety of Artist Residencies ranging in themes and topics from Space and Satellites, Creative AI and the embodiment of technology.

The aim of these residencies is to create a space for exploration and to connect residents to Design Informatics community members, to create genuine collaborations between science and creative practice.

Artists we have supported have represented a wide range of disciplines, from sound artists to weavers, performance artists, visual artists, illustrators to dancers and photographers.
