Join us in Inspace in 2026 to experience an exciting fusion of art, design, research and technology through our upcoming exhibitions, events and performance programme. Our year kicks off with Felicity Hammond: END-OF-LIFE-SERVICE an experimental and playful event, marking the imagined end of Artificial Intelligence through a funeral procession and an early-evening wake. In February, Right to Roam: Uisge, City Screens showcase, by Sarah Calmus, seeks to reflect on natural methods of connection, communication and movement, and asking us to consider incremental effect with regards to environmental concerns, locally and globally.  Ecstatic Visions celebrates the launch of a new album recording, by Stephanie Lamprea and Alastair MacDonald, released on Neuma Records, a curated exploration of feminine vocality, technology, and creation myths. In April, we are exctied to again be part of the 2026 Edinburgh Science Festival, presenting two featured exhibititions. The first Designing Global Data Interactions, features work by Design Informatics Masters students exploring global interactions with data, technology and people. This is followed by Between Glass and Magnetic Fields an exhibition by Gregory Alliss, translating the intangible dynamics of magnetic resonance imaging into the medium of glass. Wrapping up spring programming we present Right to Roam: Immsersive Installation the culmination and launch of this new body of work by Sarah Calmuc, presenting an expansive enquiry into freedom of movement through the lens of the river Forth using multi-sensory installation, moving image and print.
